Job Title: Auto Detailing Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Auto Detailing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing thorough cleaning and restoration services to vehicles, ensuring they are maintained in pristine condition inside and out. The Auto Detailing Specialist will handle various tasks ranging from washing and waxing to polishing and interior detailing to enhance the appearance and value of the vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and restore vehicles, ensuring they are in showroom condition
- Wash, wax, buff, and polish the exterior of vehicles using appropriate tools and techniques
- Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean the interior of vehicles, including upholstery, carpeting, and other surfaces
- Remove stains, spills, and odors from vehicle interiors using various cleaning products
- Clean and condition leather upholstery, dashboard, and other interior surfaces
- Apply dressing, protectant, and sealant on exterior surfaces to enhance shine and protect against environmental factors
- Detail engine bays, door jambs, and windows to achieve a thorough cleaning
- Remove scratches, buff paintwork, and touch-up minor paint imperfections as needed
- Inspect vehicles for damages, wear and tear, and identify the need for repairs or maintenance
- Follow established quality standards and procedures to deliver exceptional results consistently
- Coordinate with other members of the team to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all detailing products and tools are properly stored and utilized
- Adhere to safety protocols and practices at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive detailing is a plus
- Prior experience as an Auto Detailing Specialist or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of detailing techniques, tools, and products for both exterior and interior cleaning
- Understanding of different vehicle surfaces and the appropriate cleaning and restoration methods for each
- Ability to use detailing tools and equipment such as pressure washers, polishers, vacuums, and steam cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously
- Time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize workloads and respond effectively to changing demands
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and address customer concerns
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, and kneeling
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
