Job Description
Apply a variety of metal stamping procedures to ensure the production of a final product that meets required customer specifications and ensures customer satisfaction meeting Brunk’s high quality standards.

- 10:00 pm - 6:00 am
Responsibilities:

- Perform setup and operation of all Presses as directed by press leads, supervisors and or managers.
- Proficient use of quality control measuring devices, computers, and all related press operation equipment.
- Understand Quality Control Procedures, S.P.C. basic blueprint reading and have a good understanding of shop math.
- Monitor, inspect and document part quality per the approved inspection methods.
- Run jobs at the standard rates with no more than the allowable scrap rates.
- Perform troubleshooting functions when press equipment/machinery is not operating properly.
- Cooperate with production leads, supervisors, managers, and all peers at Brunk.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a tidy and clean workstation including floors, presses, carts, tables, and desks.
- Complete labor ticket/data collection and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Use of various measuring equipment including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, and go-no/go gauges.
- Safe and efficient use of all stamping equipment including but not limited to overhead cranes, forklifts, uncoilers, straighteners, loop control devices, feeders, oilers and presses (training provided through the Brunk Precision Press Setup Apprenticeship.
Education and Experience:
The minimum educational requirements listed below may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies and/or certifications obtained throughout one’s career.
- Completed Brunk Precision Press Setup Operator apprenticeship program (or previous equal on the job experience and or similar apprenticeship program).
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Work is in a manufacturing setting with noise and some grinding dust and fumes. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 to 2500lbs. using carts and moving equipment.
- Must wear protective shoes, safety glasses, gloves, shop shirt and wear ear protection while working around loud noises.
