About the Role:

The Box Furnace position is critical in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our industrial heating systems. This role involves overseeing the heating processes, ensuring that materials are heated to the correct temperatures for optimal performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise during operation, thereby minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules. Additionally, this position requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment. Ultimately, the Box Furnace operator plays a vital role in the production process, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in operating industrial heating equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification in industrial heating systems or related field.
• Experience with automated furnace systems.
• Familiarity with quality control processes in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor box furnace equipment to ensure proper heating of materials.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on furnace systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise during the heating process.
• Maintain accurate records of furnace operations, including temperature logs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate complex machinery effectively.
