Overview
Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Document Imaging Specialist is responsible for scanning all documents for the organization into our imaging system, OnBase, while working cohesively with the other members of the accounting team, as well as with other employees throughout the organization
Responsibilities
- Prepare documents such as work instructions, invoices, orders, payment and shipping documents for scanning
- Scan documents into appropriate folders in OnBase and index
- Ensure documents are scanned in a timely manner
- Scan special projects as needed into OnBase ie. Engineering documents
- Print and review credit card invoices
- Maintain scanners and contact OnBase maintenance when system needs repairs
- Help with part maintenance functions in Epicor as needed
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), and a minimum of 1 year of basic bookkeeping experience or equivalent education.
Skills and Abilities:
- Read, analyze, and interpret a variety of information, such as technical procedures, business correspondence, and governmental regulations furnished in written or diagram form.
- Must be detailed oriented and able to maintain accuracy while completing routine tasks over a sustained time period.
- Requires job-related software skills, MS Office and the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment.
