Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring timely delivery of beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink service during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations.
- Assist in the development of new drink recipes and specials that align with seasonal menus or events.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Participate in catering events or special functions as required, showcasing bartending skills in various settings.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or nightclub environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with SpotOn POS systems or similar cash register systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in food service or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any necessary certifications related to alcohol service.
