Hourly rate: $29.80
M-F | 8hrs shift - Sat extra hours when needed
(End of May = 12hrs Continental Shift starts)

As a Processing Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring our processing operations are efficient, productive, and safe. You'll lead and train our control room, green receiving, and rework teams, and coordinate daily schedules to meet our production goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and train our control room, green receiving, and rework teams
- Develop and coordinate daily schedules for green receiving and rework
- Perform pre-unloading sampling and roast samples for cupping
- Manage silo space utilization to maximize usage while maintaining quality standards
- Coordinate trailer and container movement and storage in the shipping yard
- Schedule and control preventative maintenance work orders
- Oversee data entry into our Probat and AX databases
- Maintain accurate records, including green bean summaries, HACCP logs, and downtime logs
- Coordinate with production planning to minimize excess coffee usage
- Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting for processing operations
- Communicate with commodities, production, maintenance, and production planning teams
- Assist with training and coordinating new project work in the processing area
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of coffee roasting processing and equipment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Understanding coffee blending, roasting, and grinding processes
- Project management skills and experience with ERP systems
- Proficient in MS Access, Excel, and Word
- Administrative skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Innovative thinker with problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Mathematical ability and good interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
