What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Bruns Construction Enterprises?
Job Description : The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects that will include new building construction, sitework, and other miscellaneous projects.
Project Managers are responsible for overseeing and managing projects from beginning to end. These individuals are also responsible for material take offs, communicating with subcontractors and suppliers, and procuring material for the field associates to ensure that the projects are completed on schedule, on budget and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Project Managers must be able to engage and represent the company in a positive manner to customers, regulatory agencies, and the public at all times.
Qualifications Include :
- Great people skills
- Strong understanding and ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel
- Experience in Estimating, Project Management and / or Construction Planning is preferred
- A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Drafting and Design, Engineering or related fields of study is not required, but is a plus
