The Ontario Center, formerly the Richland Mall, is an enclosed, regional center featuring more than 40 stores and four eateries, anchored by JCPenney. It serves as the only enclosed shopping center within a 40-mile radius and is conveniently located just minutes from I-71 and OH-30. The center is in close proximity to both North Central State College and The Ohio State University-Mansfield Campus!
About the position : We are currently seeking someone to assist us with maintenance of The Ontario Center - interior and exterior. This is a full time, first shift position. Our ideal applicant will be self-motivated and service oriented. We want someone that takes pride in their work because the results will be seen by the general public and our tenants. The ideal candidate will be mature, able to work independently, and someone we can rely on to prioritize and complete ever-changing tasks.
This position requires a flexible schedule. It is primarily for weekdays but with the expectation of some weekend rotations.
Pay is negotiable depending on skillset and experience. Those with a “jack of all trades” skillset are ideal fits for this role.
Responsibilities Include :
- Oversee cleaning crews & scheduling
- Operate large cleaning equipment such as floor scrubber
- Conduct light maintenance and assist maintenance crew when needed
- Be involved in our on-call maintenance rotation
- Help set up and tear down for events
- Inventory and stock monitoring of cleaning and other facility supplies
- Ordering supplies and running facility errands
- Possibly snow and ice removal depending on skillset and ability
- Provide general support to management as you grow in your experience
- Assisting with keeping property safe, clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned by management
