Assembles aluminum boats and / or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench, or in a boat, or on shop floor. Roles and Responsibilities: - Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints. - Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners. Using jigs, and gluing. - Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce close fit between parts. - Operates drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation. - Installs seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc. - Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.
