The Income Maintenance Caseworker III (IMC III) - Family and Children Medicaid Program Specialist is a member of the Medicaid team. The IMC III completes second-party case reviews, report management, and minimal casework functions. The employee is responsible for identifying error trends and assisting with training. The goal of this position is to ensure the agency is meeting quality and timeliness standards within the Family and Children Medicaid units. Job responsibilities include: Conducts second-party case reviews Assists with trainingTroubleshoots, sends cases to the help desk when appropriate, maintains and monitors the help desk logCompiles and enters data into NC FAST and county document management systemAssists with vacant caseloads as neededReviews weekly NC Fast postcards and provide weekly training/review for staffKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Family and Children Medicaid policiesKnowledge of NC FASTNC FAST Core Functions CertificationNC FAST FNS Certification (or ability to obtain certification) Organizational SkillsAssessments SkillsCommunication Skills (oral and written) Critical thinkingMust be available to work after normal business hours and during emergency situations.

Must be physically able to operate a variety of office equipment. Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pound of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
