Position Summary: Brunswick School seeks an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist to provide specialized support for prekindergarten and kindergarten boys. The ideal candidate will excel at assessing and treating speech-language challenges while fostering positive academic and social-emotional development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services (15 hours/week).
- Assess and identify speech-language, and communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Partner with teachers on classroom integration strategies.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Provide parent/teacher education and support to reinforce communication skills at home and in the classroom.
- Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and advancements in speech-language therapy.
- Participate in Pre School admissions assessments.
- Attend weekly Pre School Child Study Meetings.
- Coordinate with the Lower School Speech and Language Pathologist.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications/Certificates/Licenses:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State SLP licensure.
- Strong speech and language developmental knowledge.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
