What You'll Do:
- Teach introductory courses in Python, Java, Web Design, and Physical Computing to 9th - 12th graders.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that help students excel in computer science.
- Adapt your teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.
- Be an active member of our school community, including participating in dept. and faculty meetings, field trips and school events.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in computer science education and collaboratively develop engaging content to enhance learning experiences.
Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Skilled in multiple programming languages, especially Python, Java, and C/C .
- You're enthusiastic about teaching and committed to student success.
- Flexible and nurturing in your approach to education.
- Available for the full academic year (September to June), Monday through Friday.
- Open to participating in additional school activities, embracing the full scope of our vibrant school community.
- Prior teaching experience, ideally spanning a few years, is a plus
