The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in managing sales leads, cultivating enduring customer relationships, and embodying a "Customer for Life" relationship. The Sales Representative will cultivate relationships with custom builders, remodelers selling interior and exterior painting, drywall, and pre-finishing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Drives channel partnerships and leads generation through builders, remodelers, designers, real estate agents, etc.
- Accurate and timely reporting of leads, sales and estimate activity through Salesforce internal CRM System.
- Conducts frequent onsite walks with clients.
- Guide client throughout the project journey proactively to ensure accurate scope of work and project expectations.
- Provides accurate and timely estimates leveraging Bluebeam software.
- Contribute to monthly sales strategy discussions to align efforts and review current productivity.
Essential Functions
- Understands salesforce (internal CRM) processes and keeps system integrity.
- Acquires sales and submits proposals/contracts by means of cold call, in person meetings, onsite walks, attending tradeshows, and effectively maintaining existing customer relationships.
- Creates and delivers detailed and timely client estimates, can consult with in-house estimator, if needed.
- Maintains high conversation ratio of 35% or higher.
- Maintains client relationships by ensuring their needs are met both proactively and reactively as they relate to the estimating process.
- Stays current on industry competition and pricing by tracking trends, researching competitors, and attaining up-to-date knowledge of the construction industry.
- Participates in business over all processes; seeking ways to elevate processes such as but not limited to; sales, production, invoicing, collections, etc.
- Drives standardized processes in sales delivery, pricing, and proposals.
- Reviews operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
- Coordinates with Project Manager to deliver favorable customer experience.
- Manages/ coordinates making sure that variances are captured for revenue as needed and communicates to the project manager.
Experience - Three to five years related experience in the residential construction industry. Bachelor's degree (B.A/B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college, preferred but not required.
Salary - $75,000 - $110,000/year - We offer a competitive commission structure, complemented by a strong base salary, providing our sales team with the opportunity to excel and be rewarded for their hard work.
