We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as an Ice Cream Maker and Daytime Host. As an Ice Cream Maker and Daytime Host, you will be responsible for creating delicious, high-quality frozen dessert products as well as taking care of our guests. ```Responsibilities```
- Prepare a variety of ice cream and other frozen dessert flavors according to our proprietary recipes
- Operate ice cream machines and equipment to produce high-quality ice cream products
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality
- Collaborate with the team
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management - Serve our guests on an as-needed basis
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in food production/service or culinary arts is preferred
- Knowledge of ice cream making techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent, College Degree. Prior food/ice cream service and preparation experience is helpful.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must possess well-developed verbal skills sufficient to communicate effectively with employees and customers as needed.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must possess math skills sufficient to complete paperwork, comprehend recipes, adjust measurements, and operate cash register as needed.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: The position of Ice Cream Maker requires a sense of urgency, organization, cleanliness and attention to detail.

Employee must be able to maneuver in a tight and sometimes congested working environment, both quickly and without creating a hazard.
Position requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to chemicals used in cleaning. Employee is also exposed to extreme cold occasionally when entering the walk-in freezer. The employee also frequently comes into contact with hot water while cleaning and sanitizing tools and containers, and the extreme heat of the waffle iron while baking waffle cones. The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
