Position Summary
The Drill Rig Operator is responsible for operating drilling rigs and related equipment to perform soil and groundwater sampling at various project locations. Key Responsibilities
· Operate various drilling rigs, including Geoprobes, Air Rotary, and Sonic, to perform sampling and remediation tasks.
· Conduct strenuous physical tasks such as soil and groundwater sample collection, rig operation, waste removal, and related activities.
· Ensure compliance with safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans, including the use of required protective equipment.
· Drive and operate vehicles/trailers in compliance with DOT regulations.
· Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on drilling rigs and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
· Complete and submit detailed paperwork, including work logs, drilling records, time records, and maintenance reports, in a timely manner.
· Travel up to 50%, including driving company vehicles to project locations.

Required Education and Experience
