Position Summary
The Head Women’s Soccer Coach’s responsibilities will include directing all phases of a competitive women’s soccer program.
Reports to: Vice President of Athletics
Education Required
Duties will include but are not limited to: recruiting, scheduling, practice and game administration, spiritual mentoring of players, academic advising, and budgetary control, other administrative duties as assigned by the Vice President of Athletics, and promoting the academic success of the student-athlete.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach (Part-time)
The Head Women’s Soccer Coach’s responsibilities will include directing all phases of a competitive women’s soccer program.
Reports to: Vice President of Athletics
Education Required
- A desire to work in a Christian Higher Education atmosphere is necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s preferred.
- Collegiate coaching experience preferred.
- Salary will be commensurate with experience.
- Minimum of three years (five preferred) of successful collegiate coaching experience or equivalent (head coaching preferred).

- Create a safe environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development, motivation, and inspiration of students.
- Work directly with the Vice President of Athletics to ensure the success and safety of the program.
- Periodically work with the athletic trainers to develop rehabilitation programs for athletes who have been injured.
- Recommends purchase, maintenance, and repair of equipment and supplies, as deemed appropriate.
- Ability to model, live, and reinforce the school’s core values on and off the field of play with colleagues, scholar-athletes, parents, and the larger community.
- Contribute to brand awareness through community events, seasonal programs, camps, and clinics
- Contribute to the creation of daily/weekly social media content
- Provide instruction that will benefit the student’s athletes’ skills and character.
- Other duties, as assigned by the Vice President of Athletics.
