Position Description
This position is 40% Warehouse Worker and 60% Delivery Driver. This position does not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) BUT MUST be able to be D.O.T. Compliant and be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical. The right candidate must be a hardworking, self-motivated team player who delivers materials and equipment to job sites, inspects, and maintains trucks, reports shortages and claims to their supervisor, and assists in the loading and storing of materials and equipment under the direction of the Equipment Manager.
Candidate will also maintain material inventory records, tracks orders, receives and checks shipments. Performs physical inventory counts, monitors re-order points. May assist with tool and vehicle check-out. Delivers materials to job sites, inspects, and maintains trucks, reports shortages, and claims to their supervisor, and assists in the loading and storing of materials. Performs other business support and warehouse duties as directed.

Primary Duties
· Follows directions or uses a map or GPS to locate delivery addresses or locations
· Performs routine safety check on vehicles according to company guidelines
· Follows Standard Operating and Safety Procedures while carrying out their responsibilities
· Oversees housekeeping, stocking, loading, and organizing materials in yard and warehouse
· Check deliveries prior to leaving yard
· Ensure trailer is properly connected, and secure
· Drive Safely & follow all DOT rules & regulations
· Deliver all product error free & in a timely manner
· Complete all necessary paperwork
· Upon return to yard unload and check items and make sure correct paperwork is filled out
· Separate, sort & account for all pickups and deliveries
· Any other yard driver/ labor duties that may be assigned
· Oversees getting tools and equipment “Rental Ready” by cleaning and refurbishing, if necessary, with guidance of Equipment Manager, upon return and before they get put away
· Double checks tools and equipment are clean and in good working condition before they are sent out especially if they have been stored for a while
· Wil highly be involved in inventorying equipment and tools
· Assists manager with design and implementation of warehouse operational procedures,
· Finds constructive ways to keep busy when there is some downtime
· Oversee safe working practices of powered industrial vehicles in the yard drivng
· Analyzes work processes and recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product or service.
· Loads and unloads materials in warehouse and performs a variety of other warehouse tasks.
· Loads and unloads materials into or from vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools.
Required Skills
· Minimum two years driving experience along with pulling gooseneck and bumper pull trailers
· No more than 3 moving violations in the previous 3 years
· Experience running a forklift and skid loader
· Must be able to strap and secure a load properly
· No serious offenses in the previous 7 years or pattern of unsafe practices
· Basic knowledge of route delivery
· Safe driving habits & driving record & acceptable MVR
· Able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis
· Customer Service attitude.
· Requires basic communication and math skills.
· Must be able to comprehend industry terms.
· Computer literate, able to operate computer system with company software and Microsoft office products
· Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
· Must be able to sit or stand for longer periods of time
· Knowledge of small engine repair would be a plus but not required
· Being able to weld would be a plus, but not required

Salary Range: $53,000 - $65,000 yearly
