The Bryan County School System is accepting applications fora S pecial Education teacher at George Washington Carver Elementary School for the 2025-26 school year . The successful candidate must meet certification requirements in the appropriate field(s) of education, as follows :
- Special Education - Self-Contained classrooms - must hold certification in Adapted Curriculum Special Education , plus Special Education content concentrations in all 5 content areas.
- Special Education - collaborative classrooms - must hold certificaiton in General Curriculum Special Education , plus Special Education content concentrations in all 5 content areas.
In addition to certification and professionally qualified status, Bryan County is interested in teachers who possess a strong knowledge of research-based and data-driven instructional practices designed to ensure students with disabilities the opportunity to be successful in their educational environment, as well as embracing a philosophy of providing individual interventions in a manner that positively affects individual student growth.
