The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for qualified candidates for an Administrative Assistant in the Division of Operations. The successful candidate must possess at least a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of five (5) years of secretarial or administrative experience or the equivalent. General understanding of educational administration rules, regulations, and ethics.
Strong and effective oral and written communication skills to include exceptional public relations and telephone etiquette.
Broad general knowledge of office procedures, office equipment, and administrative functions with a strong proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Outlook).
Accurate typist with a minimum of 60 WPM.
Ability to manage several large projects at one time.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust.
