The Bryan County Board of Commissioners is now accepting applications for a Seasonal Summer Camp Site Supervisor , within the Bryan County Recreation Department.
The purpose of this classification is to be responsible for leading children in the Camp programs and reports to the Recreation Coordinator. Site Supervisor will be a role model for camp participants. The ideal candidate exemplifies integrity, commitment, respect, responsibility and cooperation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Is responsible for overall operations of the site.
Ensures safety of all the program participants.
Sets up and breaks down of equipment needed for the operation of the program.
Collects and records payment, enter payment into recreation software.
Keeps inventory of program supplies and notifies supervisor when low.
Applies disciplinary actions in accordance with the program guidelines.
Notes and completes incident, accident, and participant discipline reports.
Monitors program areas and maintains cleanliness and order in the facility with security precautions.
Attends all mandatory trainings.
Supervises recreation staff, program participants and facility.
Answers parent questions and concerns.
Supervises and trains subordinate employees in proper procedures, work practices and safe methods, and promotes and maintains a safe and healthy work environment free of recognized hazards in accordance with county policy.
Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Must be at least 18 years of age and have at least 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity. Demonstrates a passion for working with kids and having fun. Must demonstrate ability to perform all job duties and be physically active. Must maintain and possess a valid Driver’s License.
