The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for Childcare Assistant Teacher in the Childcare Center at Bryan County Elementary School, for the 2025-2026 school year.
Position Overview
The Co-Teacher works collaboratively with other staff members and children in day to day activities in the classroom and helping to create a safe and caring environment. Assists in all activities to improve the overall care and quality of education.
Job Qualifications
- Child Development Associate credential or 6 hours of Early Childhood Education credit preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain these)
- Ability to form positive relationships with children.
- Knowledge of social, emotional needs of children.
- Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
- Adequate knowledge on principles and policies of safety and suitable activities for children.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
