Are you a passionate art enthusiast with a knack for sales and a flair for gallery operations? The Bryan Art Gallery (a nonprofit 501c3) in Jeffersonville, seeks a part-time Gallery Associate to join our team in beautiful Jeffersonville, Vermont
As Gallery Associate, you’ll be a crucial part of a small team managing the gallery’s operations, sales, and community engagement. Primary duties include sales and client relations, exhibition coordination, excellent communication skills (written and oral), plus the administrative know-how to run a busy gallery. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in visual art, with museum or gallery experience or relevant experience in a similar environment; technical proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to learn the Gallery’s database; strong social media skills and meticulous attention to detail. Our Gallery Associate should present as an enthusiastic and knowledgeable professional, eager to work with a diverse public and our artist base.
The Bryan Gallery offers, uncapped commission on artwork sales, holidays and personal time off, and an inclusive team environment. This position holds a 4-day work week, (Thursday – Sunday) with additional time, as needed, for mounting exhibitions and special events. Starting salary is $18/hour.
