Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Legal Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced legal environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage incoming calls, providing accurate information and directing calls to appropriate personnel.
- Perform document review and assist with legal case management tasks as needed.
- Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
- Assist attorneys with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and preparing legal documents.
- Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses, transcribing notes accurately for record-keeping.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to legal standards of practice.
Experience
- Previous experience in a legal office or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong clerical skills with proficiency in document management and organization.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with clients.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely, ensuring accuracy in all written communications.
- Experience with legal case management software is beneficial but not mandatory.
Skills
