The Bryan Law Firm, PC, is a boutique law firm located in downtown Bozeman that delivers customized estate plans to families and individuals looking to put their affairs in order. The firm’s practice includes a broad collection of services that range from simple wills and living trusts to sophisticated tax and asset protection. Position Summary:
The firm seeks a full-time Legal Assistant/Receptionist who will be the initial point of contact with clients.
An energetic person who is highly organized, comfortable multitasking, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is courteous, cheerful, and helpful to clients and fellow employees will be successful in this position. The successful candidate will support the firm with general office operations, administrative duties, and communications.
Qualifications:
Prior office experience preferred.
Bachelors or associates degree preferred.
High computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Within the scope of the position, a successful candidate will:
- Clearly communicate basic and accurate information in person, via telephonic communication, and via email correspondence.
- Greet and welcome clients and other visitors upon arrival and direct them to the appropriate person, office, or conference room.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and take detailed phone messages as necessary.
- Manage the calendar and schedule meetings for other employees.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Ensure reception areas and other common office areas are tidy, presentable, and stocked with all necessary office supplies.
- Provide receipts of office expenses to bookkeeper and assist with monthly invoicing.
- Perform and coordinate other clerical and administrative receptionist duties such as mailing, filing, and photocopying.
- Operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, fax machines, coffee makers, and phones.
Work Conditions:
The firm’s work week is generally Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a one-hour scheduled lunch break from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Some variability is permitted, depending on workload. Successful performance of job functions will require standing, lifting, and some moderate physical requirements
(ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk up and down multiple flights of stairs).
Compensation:
This is a full-time (minimum 32 hours per week), non-exempt position, with starting pay in the $20-23 per hour range, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits for this position include paid holidays, paid time off, Simple IRA with a 3% match, paid parking, and gym membership reimbursement.
