Description:
Bryan’s House is seeking an experienced Grant Writer to join our team. As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. You will also support prospect research and work in partnership with the CEO to cultivate and secure new funding. The successful candidate will have a strong background in grant writing and a proven track record in the DFW area. This is a remote, contracted position with 20 hours per month guaranteed.
Who is Bryan’s House
From the immobile child to the nonverbal Autistic child to the infant with cerebral palsy—Bryan’s House is a place for every child. Our mission is to provide children with special health needs and their families with trusted case management, educational, therapeutic and medically-supported care. Our services include early childhood education (children ages 0-5), case management in the home, a pre-k program, and collaborative therapy opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, creative writing, or a related area
- A proven track record of success in the DFW area
- Excellent knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising process
- Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization
- Understanding of the Dallas philanthropic landscape
- Multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential matters with utmost integrity
