What are the responsibilities and job description for the BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SOCIAL WORKER position at Bryan W Whitfield Memorial Hospital?
Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a master's degree in social work or a related field (GSW) preferably and licensed by the state of Alabama, (LGSW).
Must have at least 1 year of experience in the field of Social Work to include Discharge Planning, Patient and Family Education, Formulation of care Plans, and a history of Positive Interactions with referral resources.
Must be able to provide social services for patient's ages 18 years old and up and manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, manage anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately, handle multiple priorities, work alone and work in areas that are cofined and/or crowded.
