Job Details
The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician.
Uses CT technology and techniques to assist in the diagnosis of patient medical problems for patients throughout the age continuum.
Performs all types of CT studies to include diagnostic and interventional procedures; practices radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
Competently operates all CT equipment and support systems to include HIS, RIS, Scheduling System, PACS, teleradiography, performs and evaluates images for technical quality.
Job Requirements
Graduate from a school of radiologic technology with current certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
Certification in CT required within 24 months of hire.
Valid state medical radiographer license required.
Minimum of 2 years of hospital CT experience.
