Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Flexible hours, must be responsive during core hours)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Remote Video Editor to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, visually compelling videos that align with brand guidelines and client objectives. You’ll collaborate closely with producers, project managers, and designers to ensure a consistent and impactful final product.
Key Responsibilities
Footage Review & Assembly: Review raw footage and assemble sequences into a coherent video narrative.
Post-Production: Perform cutting, color correction, audio mixing, and basic motion graphics to enhance visual appeal.
Platform Optimization: Adapt and format final videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.).
Brand Consistency: Maintain brand guidelines, visual style, and storytelling techniques across projects.
Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to gather feedback, iterate on edits, and meet deadlines.
File Management: Organize and archive project files, ensuring version control and easy retrieval.
Qualifications
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and basic familiarity with After Effects or motion graphics software.
Editing Experience: 2 years of video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing marketing or social media content.
Creative Skills: Eye for composition, pacing, and storytelling. Understanding of color grading and audio mixing best practices.
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot and correct inconsistencies in audio, color, and branding elements.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating in a fully remote environment.
