Bryant Pipe & Supply, Inc. (BPS) is a retailer of construction and agricultural irrigation products working in the Columbia River Gorge. BPS is a family-owned and run business that has operated in the Hood River Valley since 1986.

Previous work experience in irrigation and landscaping, plumbing, or retail sales is beneficial, but, above all, we are looking for employees with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service

• Demonstrate a positive representation of BPS
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers by name, when possible, following all transactions
• Assist customers with purchasing questions
• Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as team members
• Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance
• Continually build product knowledge base

Retail Space Appearance and Upkeep

• Keep retail spaces, including checkout areas and entrance doors, neat and clean at all times
• Ensure store merchandise remains stocked and faced

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to learn and use Point of Sale system
• Ability to work and communicate effectively and efficiently in a team environment
• Must be available to work Saturdays as required
• Preference for bilingual Spanish/English ability, but not requirement for employment
• Ability to operate a skid loader and forklift preferred

Physical Ability:

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift to up to 20 to 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to random screening

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00/hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
