Armed Security- (Military or Law Enforcement Experience Required)

We are hiring an Armed Security Officer with military or law enforcement experience. The position is divided into two post locations in Palm Beach Gardens. The posts are a private learning institution and a community center. Please review the qualifications before applying.

Candidates must meet the listed qualifications in order to be interviewed or considered for these positions. The initial interview will be conducted over Zoom.

Duties may include; access control, patrolling, traffic control and greeting staff and visitors.

Officer Qualifications (At least one qualification must be met):

• U.S. Military Veteran or currently serving in the Reserves or National Guard
• Police Academy graduate
• Corrections Academy graduate

Compensation:

• Officers: $25.00- $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

The end of shift times may vary due to events and additional security needs requested by the client.

Event security. Events may take place between the hours listed below. Location of events may be through out West palm Beach.

• 0700-1800 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• OFF- Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be well groomed with a professional appearance
• Must have U.S. Military or Law Enforcement experience
• Must have a valid Class D and Class G Security License
• Must have your own firearm, duty belt, 2 extra magazines and a retention holster. Equipment is subject to inspection, prior to being assigned to the post.
• Must be able to pass a Level II criminal background investigation and drug screening
• Must have a strong command of the English language

Candidates must provide the following supporting documentation at the time of interview.

• DD 214 or current military ID (If Applicable)
• Law Enforcement or Corrections Officer Certification (If Applicable)
