Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer
The Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of a residential communit. This position requires a highly trained professional who can effectively monitor, protect, and respond to security threats while maintaining a visible presence to deter crime. The officer will be tasked with enforcing security protocols, observing suspicious activities, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of the property to observe and monitor for suspicious activities or safety hazards.
- Ensure all gates, doors, windows, and entry points are secure.
- Monitor alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and other security devices.
Incident Response:
- Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, or other emergencies.
- Take appropriate action during an emergency, including contacting law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel when necessary.
- Investigate disturbances, property damage, or vandalism.
Security Enforcement:
- Enforce policies and procedures, including access control and visitor management.
- Check identification of individuals entering the premises and ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed access.
- Perform vehicle inspections and monitor parking areas for security and compliance.
Surveillance Monitoring:
- Monitor video surveillance feeds for unusual activity and alert supervisors or local authorities as necessary.
- Document incidents and activities in detailed reports.
Customer Service:
- Act as a point of contact, answering questions or assisting with security-related concerns.
- Provide a visible deterrent to criminal activity by maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Report Writing:
- Document security incidents, patrol logs, and any suspicious activities in detailed written reports.
- Prepare and submit incident reports to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 4 years
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
License/Certification:
- Valid D license as required by state or local law.
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful or emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and security technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass background checks.
Working Conditions:
- Work may be required during evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on the schedule.
- The role may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and various environmental factors.

- Monday-Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Schedule 2:
- Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 3:00PM - 11:00PM

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
