Bryce Resort is looking to hire servers to work in a fast paced, team environment. This position requires excellent customer service and good communication skills.
Weekend and holiday shifts required.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stocks server station with boxes, napkins, and silverware
- Polishes and rolls all silverware
- Follows all opening procedures
- Checks dressing levels and lets kitchen staff know if additional condiments need to be made
- Properly covers and dates all items in coolers
- Prepares house salads for guests
- Checks all condiments on tables and properly refills
- Greets guests and distributes menus when seated
- Explain food and beverage specials to guests
- Answers any menu item questions a guest might have
- Properly makes drinks following recipe standards
- Inquires if guest would be interested in an appetizer, dessert and/or coffee
- Makes sure all ABC laws are followed and cards customers as required
- Promptly takes guest orders and enters into point-of-sale system
- Delivers food to guests and ensures everything is correct
- Refills beverages when needed
- Communicates with kitchen to ensure proper food service
- Clears and cleans tables when guests have finished
- Handles all money and payments properly
- Clean and reset all tables properly and promptly
- Cover all dressing in kitchen making sure all items are stored properly for closing shift
- Vacuums all floors and does general nightly cleaning
- Follows closing procedures
- Properly completes paperwork and does nightly drop
- Takes all dishes to kitchen to be washed
- Takes reservations
- Makes sure all guest are satisfied with their experience
- Performs any other duties as directed
