Job Description
BryceTech has an immediate opening for a senior cloud architect who will support development, acquisition, execution and management of the SDA’s government-owned, contractor-operated cloud environments; develop government reference cloud architectures and cost estimates to support the SDA’s Cloud Center of Excellence initiatives; serves as the primary cloud SME. This is a hybrid role and the candidate can be near Washington D.C., Denver, CO, or Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have the following experience :
- Develop and perform analysis of business and technical requirements to assess, design, and develop cloud-based architecture
- Develop and maintain metadata systems to enhance data governance and quality
- Develop multi-cloud C2E solutions (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud)
- Design and implement a data fabric architecture to integrate data across multiple systems
- Develop architecture to support multiple software platforms (i.e., Kubernetes; Openshift)
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends
- Experience using Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or other major cloud computing services
- Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on data privacy and security
