Electrical Apprentice

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist a journeyman electrician and follow instructions
- Prepare and clean work areas
- Carry and deliver materials
- Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment
- Use measuring equipment and hand tools to perform conduit work
- Follow safety codes and building regulations
- Ability to diagnose problems using electronic testing equipment
- Other job duties as assigned
- Employees may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. The employee will be compensated based on Fair Labor Standards Act guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completion of electrician training program preferred
- 1-2 -years of relevant electrical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
- This is a safety-sensitive position; the candidate must complete and pass a background check and a ten-panel drug /alcohol testing
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- A valid driver’s record preferred
