What are the responsibilities and job description for the LOW VOLTAGE TECHNICIAN position at Brycon?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform testing and certification of installed components
- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown, and correct the problem
- Inspect material for quality before installation
- Install network cable, Fire Alarm cable, Access Control, and wireless projects
- Pulling and routing cable in a commercial environment
- Terminating Jacks Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A
- Perform daily tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company policies
- Must adhere to all health, safety, and company policies
- Demonstrate thorough familiarity with current client, company, and OSHA safety
- Must be able to work cooperatively and maintain a positive and professional manner
- Responsible for all other duties as assigned
- Other job duties as assigned
- Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employees will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
