HOUSEKEEPERS – Full-Time Bryn Mawr Care, Chicago, IL - $17.50 per hour Union

Bryn Mawr Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in the Edgewater area on the northside of Chicago, IL seeks:

Part-Time schedule: 7a-2:30p Days vary

This is a Union position so Union dues are deducted from pay. Hourly rate $18.00

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Clean, dust, wash and disinfect all rooms, halls, bathrooms, fixtures, floors, doors, ceilings and walls as directed
• Scour and polish water fountains, sinks, mirrors and glass panels in doors and partitions
• Clean ledges, shelves, vents, windows, window sills, etc.
• Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles

of the Housekeeper:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Able to speak some English preferred
• Housekeeping experience in healthcare is a plus
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties
• Personable with residents, families and a team-player with staff in a professional manner
• Maintain confidentiality of all residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA standards
