Physician- Cardiac Electrophysiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician to join our growing cardiology team at Bryn Mawr Hospital part of the Main Line Health system in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. As a critical member of our cardiology department, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with complex cardiac electrical system disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrophysiology and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, nurses, and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose arrhythmias and other cardiac electrical disorders.
- Perform electrophysiology studies, including intra-cardiac recordings and mapping.
- Conduct catheter ablation procedures for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and other arrhythmias.
- Implant and manage cardiac devices, such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
- Monitor patients’ post-procedure to ensure recovery and manage any complications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff, to develop patient care plans.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in electrophysiology and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- BE/BC Electrophysiologist
- Eligible for a license in PA
