Position Purpose & Focus :
The Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager plays a crucial role in managing a portfolio of 15-20 group accounts, both local and national. This position emphasizes building strategic relationships, providing outstanding service, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your main objective will be to maintain strong client connections while offering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Stay informed about the latest in insurance technical knowledge, market trends, agency automation, and company updates.
- Oversee day-to-day client service for 20-25 group accounts.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, producers, insurance carriers, and internal teams.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Identify challenges, create strategic solutions, and present recommendations to clients.
- Analyze plan options for renewals or new marketing strategies and present proposals effectively.
- Clearly communicate timelines, due dates, and expectations to clients and partners.
- Schedule and facilitate client meetings, open enrollment sessions, and educational meetings.
- Successfully install new group insurance contracts for both new and existing clients.
- Guide clients on compliance measures such as ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and FMLA.
- Ensure clients are knowledgeable about all resources provided by Bryson.
- Maintain expertise in benefits administration systems and assist clients in utilizing this technology.
