Position Overview: Solution Consultant – SaaS ERP Position Overview: BS&A Software, a market-leading software organization with proven technology, is seeking a Solution Consultant to join our growing Implementation Team. You will play a key role in the implementation of BS&A’s ERP software (primarily cloud-based) in local governments and utility districts throughout the country. - Lead the Discovery, Design and Configuration phases of customer implementations
- Define, analyze, and interpret customer business needs and procedures, aligning them with project objectives
- Map customers’ existing business processes and legacy system data to the BS&A ERP system
- Partner with customers to perform data validation following conversion of master data and historical transactional data from customers’ legacy systems
- Configure and customize ERP systems in line with client's operational methods and BS&A’s recommended practices
- Identify and document business/technical prerequisites for specific software design/development, forms, reports, interfaces, processes, configuration, and other necessary alterations
- Deliver outstanding customer support and address client concerns throughout the implementation process
- Collaborate with various team members, including Project Managers, Data Conversion team members, and Implementation & Training Specialists
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting/Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in hands-on implementation of complex SaaS ERP systems, preferably in GovTech/Municipalities
- Specific domain knowledge in one or more areas of ERP systems, such as Core Financials or HRMS/Payroll. Knowledge in municipality-specific functions such as Utility Billing and Community Development is a plus
- Keen eye for detail, able to quickly identify potential issues in customer configuration and/or data conversion issues
- Some technical proficiency preferred (Excel, basic SQL scripting, etc)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
- Excellent customer facing skills with the ability to simplify technical aspects for non-technical users
- Ability to manage stress and anxiety levels in complex and fast paced environments
- Ability to work independently, manage personal tasks effectively, take initiative in problem-solving, and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting
- Ability to travel to customer sites for kickoff meetings and other ad-hoc activities (up to 25% travel)
