Responsibilities
- CPAP Compliance Specialist will perform routine clerical and clinical tasks specific to the CPAP Compliance Clinic.
- Primary responsibilities include answering department phone lines, verifying patient insurance benefits and completing pre-authorization requirements, documenting and billing CPAP compliance follow-up visits, scheduling sleep consultation appointments, maintaining CPAP inventory and ordering, overseeing coordinating and/or filling monthly CPAP mailer supplies, performing CPAP device downloads, perform initial CPAP/BiPAP setups and education as well as scheduling and seeing follow-up CPAP compliance appointments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Six months experience with direct patient care and/or successful completion of Medical Assistant training.
Competent use of personal computers and software programs including Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
