Responsibilities
The Charge Nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation and coordination of patient care for a shift. She/he provides leadership to the staff by working cooperatively with the nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team to assure that care is given through utilization of the nursing process.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Current license as RN in state of Texas
- Certified basic life support.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in hospital setting as staff nurse
