Job Description
The Cardiology Medical Surgical 5th Floor Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists patients with daily activities under nursing supervision. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and disseminating reports to Registered Nurses.
- Collecting and recording patients' vital signs and specimens for lab tests.
Requirements
- Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
- Completion of High School PCT competencies.
