Job Description
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will play a vital role in providing basic patient care under the supervision of our skilled nursing team. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other essential tasks.
You will also be responsible for observing patients' progress, preparing and disseminating reports to Registered Nurses, and obtaining and recording patients' vital signs and collecting specimens for lab tests.
In addition, you will provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our patients.
Requirements
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and completion of High School PCT competencies.
