Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial software and technical accounting, with experience in preparing financial statements and conducting cash flow analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Analyze cash flows and prepare cash flow statements
- Utilize LIHTC knowledge for tax credit projects
- Handle corporate accounting tasks
- Apply expertise in wills, trusts, and estate law
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or requisite experience.
- Solid Understanding of GAAP Accounting Principles.
- Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliation and journal entry processes
- Ability to work in a multiple entity environment with interruptions.
- Create Journal Entries as needed.
- Serve as the primary contact for the Market Presidents to support the Property Owners.
- Property Management experience
- AppFolio Software Experience highly desirable, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,530.00 - $59,081.00 per year
