Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between locations in a safe and timely manner.
Duties
- Operate various types of vehicles such as vans, box trucks, or commercial vehicles
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Drive routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries
- Utilize equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts for moving and transporting goods
Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in commercial driving or route driving
- Ability to operate different types of vehicles including vans, box trucks, or commercial vehicles
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
- Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical work as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
