Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, perform research data collection, and prepare detailed maps and reports.
Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys to establish property boundaries using advanced surveying equipment
- Prepare accurate survey drawings, schematics, and maps using software such as Carlson, Revit, and GIS
- Research previous survey evidence, including maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys
- Collaborate with civil engineers and architects to ensure survey work meets project requirements
- Utilize algebra and mathematical calculations to analyze field data and measurements
- Perform field work including measuring angles, distances, elevations, and contours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 2 years minimum of field experience
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and practices
- Professional LS license in Kansas a plus
- GPS Surveying skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in survey work
- Proficient in relevant surveying software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,486.00 - $85,961.00 per year
