Attorney - Personal injury

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution, including all phases of litigation.
• Conduct thorough investigations: gather evidence, interview witnesses, and obtain medical records and expert opinions.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Develop and implement winning case strategies to maximize client outcomes.
• Represent clients in settlement negotiations and court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with support staff (paralegals, legal assistants) for efficient case management.
• Maintain open, proactive communication with clients to provide case updates and advice on legal options.
• Stay current with personal injury law developments to leverage relevant case precedents.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Florida.
• Personal injury law experience preferred (jury trial experience a plus).
• Proven negotiation, litigation, and advocacy skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
• High professional integrity, work ethic, and dedication to client service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
