ob Title: CEQA Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CEQA Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the preparation of CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) analyses and managing the production of CEQA documents. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a team, ensuring quality, timely delivery of all project deliverables while supporting our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and prepare CEQA analyses.
- Manage the production of CEQA documents from start to finish.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, providing support to colleagues and meeting client needs.
- Review and edit technical studies and CEQA analyses prepared by supporting technical staff.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and project teams, developing project approaches, exchanging project descriptive information and technical studies, strategizing solutions to challenges, and providing updates on deliverables.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of direct professional experience in the preparation of CEQA documents.
- Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations related to land use, planning, permitting, and environmental protection.
- Familiarity with land use permitting processes, environmental review, and local agency policies and procedures related to planning and development.
- Excellent skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, objective professional writing, interpersonal communication, and organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $106,415.00 - $113,666.00 per year
