Event Specialist

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Event Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setup/breakdown, and executing various events that promote our brand and engage our audience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for event marketing, ensuring that each event is memorable and impactful.

Seeking Event Specialists to represent our bakery at various pop up shops, events, parties, and festivals. YOU MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION. This is a high commission based position. For every sale you make, you get a profit. You will also receive a base pay for travel and setup.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays, be comfortable working indoors and outdoors, standing on your feet and sitting, traveling in the 757/804 area, and have a high energy assertive personality at all times!. YOU MUST be naturally charismatic and outgoing!!!!.

Simple customer interaction and sales. Each event there are minimal sale requirements that must be met! Event Specialists will also be responsible for the transportation, event setup, and breakdown for every event.

Duties

• Demonstrate product knowledge to showcase products and engage potential customers.
• Utilize your social media platforms to promote events, share updates, and engage with attendees before, during, and after events.
• Collect research data during events to assess effectiveness and gather feedback for future improvements.
• Communicate with other vendors, sponsors, and participants to expand our network.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event process to enhance the overall experience for customers.

Experience

• Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus.
• Background in food service is a plus, particularly for events involving setup or food-related activities.
• Sales experience is beneficial to effectively promote products during events.
• Familiarity with event marketing strategies and best practices is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in social media management to leverage online platforms for event promotion.
• Strong public speaking skills are necessary to confidently present information at various events.
• Ability to conduct research data collection during events for analysis and reporting purposes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $150.00 - $350.00 per day

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
