Position Title: Manager of AI Solutions
Position Status: Exempt
Work Hours: Mon–Fri. Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays; Secondary holidays may be a scheduled work day.
Reports To: Chief Information Officer
Location: Buffalo, Orchard Park, Rochester, NY. A hybrid work schedule may become available.
Job Summary:
The Manager of AI Solutions at Bryant & Stratton College will spearhead the development and implementation of artificial intelligence initiatives to enhance student success, curriculum enhancement, and operational efficiencies. This role involves working with academic and operational leadership to evaluate where AI can make meaningful impacts and manage the successful integration of AI technologies across various departments of the College. The role will be a member of the AI Steering committee and will take guidance from this committee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. AI Governance: Assist with establishing and maintaining governance best practices for AI at the College.
2. Project Management: Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
3. Use Case Management: Work with College leadership to define, prioritize and manage a running list of AI use cases for the College that align with our Strategic goals. For each use case, develop success criteria to include ROI/metric measurement. Gain an understanding of BSC business process and recommend potential solutions to address existing challenges.
4. Academics Collaboration: Work collaboratively with academic leadership team to support innovative strategies that enhance student success, support curriculum enhancement, and promote academic excellence
5. Project Team Leadership: Lead and manage cross functional project teams, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support.
6. Technical Oversight: Design, develop, and implement AI solutions and models. Ensure the technical feasibility of AI projects and oversee the integration of AI technologies.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
8. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of AI solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
9. Training Facilitation: Assist with the design, development and implementation of Associate education as it pertains to AI.
10. AI System Optimization: Once implemented, monitor success of solution, continuing to refine solution based on operational outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing AI projects. Strong background in AI technologies, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. Experience in Higher Education industry is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent project management, research, strong leadership abilities, ability to learn BSC business processes, relationship building across levels of the organization and effective communication skills.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Position requires standing or sitting in a stationary position as well as the occasional need to lift, carry, push, and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.
Position also requires the use of computer technology/equipment.
Position requires the ability to hear conversations and receive information in person and over the telephone.
Position requires the ability to convey detailed and important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

This position requires a background check.
Starting Salary Range: $110,000 - 130,000 per year

At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
